What does aidrop do?
aidrop hosts the app your coding agent builds. Connect your agent over MCP and ask it to deploy: aidrop builds the code, runs it and gives it a public address in the same session. The project keeps its code, deployment state and history, so the next change starts where the last one ended.
Do I keep using Claude Code, Cursor or Codex?
Yes. Connect your existing agent over MCP — that is the whole interface, and there is no separate REST API. Your agent writes and pushes the code, and aidrop builds and runs it when your agent asks. The dashboard is where you see your projects, team and billing; building and deploying happen through your agent.
Can I deploy an existing GitHub repository?
Yes. Your repository stays on GitHub. Install the aidrop GitHub App for that account, then ask your agent to build it and tell aidrop the port the app listens on. If the build or the app fails, the logs say why, and your agent fixes the code and builds again. Complex migrations may need human assistance.
Which apps can I run?
Web apps and APIs in Node, Python and Go, static sites, and anything with a Dockerfile. Containers run on a read-only filesystem with temporary scratch space, so durable data belongs in a database or external object storage. If a build fails, its log says what stopped it.
Is my app public as soon as I deploy?
Yes. Your app gets a public address from its first deploy, and anyone you give it to can open it without an aidrop account. Access to your project, repository and dashboard is separate and limited to your team.
What will it cost after the trial?
The 7-day trial needs no credit card. Paid hosting starts at $5/month on an aidrop address. A managed database and your own domain start at Pro, $20/month. If you choose no paid plan, Free includes no hosting. Prices are in USD and include applicable taxes.
Do you back up my database?
No. We keep no backup copies and make no restore promise. Backups are yours to make, and your agent can make them: it reads the database directly over MCP, or runs pg_dump from inside your Project into storage you own. Application containers have no persistent disk, so decide where durable data lives before using the app for important work.
